Donate to a Charity To Create a Incontrovertible Encroachment

Man, that quote is heartbreaking (Please imagine a heartbreak emoji here.) Bob Hope, even though he was a comedian, sounds like a very sagacious philosopher. Charity doesn’t mean that you empty all your bank accounts and give every single penny that you have and donate every single thing that you own. It doesn’t mean that you cut down your expenses and live like a hermit so that you can help others. Charity 2.0 — that is, charity is on our generation and time — is a very unique and modern concept. People organise wine-parties and even community-fasts to collect money or donation for a very specific cause. But that might feel like too much work or time commitment right now. So, you can start with taking small steps.

Donate to a Charity To Create a Positive Impact

I feel that at the end of the day, when all is said and done, when the blinds are shut and we are alone with our thoughts — all of us want to just sleep peacefully. And be happy. Be happy that we did achieve what we set out to do today and in the process, we did help someone. It can be a very fulfilling experience to know that you were able to help someone in however small or big way possible. It can be as simple as buying a homeless person a meal or donating a blanket to a homeless person because it is freezing cold.

All charity begins with empathy and a realisation that we are all humans. And it is our moral duty to help each other overcome obstacles. Some people are just given a bad hand (by fate) when they are born in extremely poor circumstances and no matter how hard they work they are unable to overcome the challenges. So if you feel that you have something to spare — whether a kind thought, a prayer, a wholesome meal, or some money — for them, please do. You can donate to a we charity of your choice which helps people get an education. It would be wonderful if you decided to partner with Saving Children in Poverty, an Australian not-for-profit organisation that works hard to provide quality education and healthcare to around 100 (and counting!) kids in the sector-four slum of Faridabad in India.

When you work with and partner with Saving Children in Poverty (SCIP), you can contribute to a lot of social and non-profit projects such as:

THE SCIP ECO SCHOOL — EDUCATION IS SUCCESS – The SCIP ECO School stands for Equality, Compassion, and Opportunity. The students learn Maths, Science, and Languages in the nursery, LKG, UKG, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. They are constantly encouraged to learn further. You can help the SCIP ECO school to expand further by helping them build a new classroom by making a decision to donate to a charity. The school has also partnered with Nehru Academy for scholarships. You can contribute $200 and sponsor a child’s education for a year. The gift of education is the best gift (and donation) that you can ever give to someone because they will be able to fend for themselves in the future. What you are essentially doing is giving them a launch pad and a stronghold for future.

THE SCIP CLINIC — HEALTHCARE FOR ALL – Saving Children in Poverty tries it best to provide healthcare to women and children who live in the sector-four slum of Faridabad. They often organise free health check-up camps to ensure that everyone is well. The Nursing Volunteers from around the world teach and impart first aid knowledge to the community members so that they can be efficient in case of a small medical emergency. You can also decide to donate to a charity that contributes to the healthcare sector by ensuring that everyone lives a healthy and happy life. Come to think of it we stop functioning properly even if we have a headache, but these people have been living for the longest time without access to quality (or even basic) healthcare and a lot of chronic pain. How can you go earn your living when there is a constant buzzing in your ear or ache in your molar or extreme pain in your back? You can’t. The SCIP Clinic tries to make sure that the people have access to healthcare so that they can live a pain-free life that helps them reach their full potential to live the best possible life.

SCIP SEWS — WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT PROJECT – Started by community’s initiative, the SCIP Sews is a unique not-for-profit project. The women started learning language and maths from their kids who attended the SCIP ECO school. Later, they expressed an interest in learning stitching and sewing. So, SCIP provided 2 tailors and complete training to the interested women. And now, lo and behold, they sew and make beautiful hand-crafted garments for the kids around the world. You can donate to a charity like SCIP SEWS that supports women empowerment so that the women can become self-sufficient and also support their families financially. It’s a beautiful, new world and you can support whichever non-profit project and charity that you like. Let’s make our world a wonderful place for everyone!
